AGS-Wisconsin Spring Meeting 2018

ags internet version

I am excited to announce our Spring Meeting!

We will be gathering at the Oak Hill Chapel and Cemetery in Janesville, Wisconsin at Noon on May 12th.

Richard Snyder will talk about the restoration of the chapel’s stained glass and the community involvement in the project. I recommend checking out their facebook page for photos and more information about the process, which can be found here.

Evan McAllister, an adjunct faculty member of Carthage College, will give a brief presentation on the St. Joan of Arc Chapel in Milwaukee.

Sherry Thurner will then give us a tour of the cemetery.

The event is free, but donations for Friends of Oak Hill Chapel and the Oak Hill Cemetery Preservation Society are accepted.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to email me at ags.wisconsin@gmail.com. No registration necessary, but I would appreciate either an email or an RSVP on our facebook event (located here) so that I have an idea of how many people to expect.
